DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT

BBQ Scorecard by Holy Smokes BBQ Co

You can delete your data from BBQ Scorecard at any time. There are two options depending on what you want to remove.

OPTION 1: DELETE INDIVIDUAL REVIEWS

You can delete any review directly from within the app:

1. Open the app and find the review you want to delete
2. Tap on the review to open it
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Review
4. Confirm the deletion

Deleted reviews are removed from your device and from Cloud Firestore immediately. This cannot be undone.

OPTION 2: DELETE YOUR ENTIRE ACCOUNT

To delete your account and all associated data from our servers, send an email to:

Include the email address you used to sign in with Google. We will delete the following data within 7 days:

1. Your profile — display name, email, photo URL, and friend code
2. All of your reviews — restaurant scores, notes, dates, and locations stored in Cloud Firestore
3. Your friend connections — removed from both your account and your friends' accounts

LOCAL DATA

Data stored on your device (localStorage) is not affected by an account deletion request. To clear local data, go to your browser settings and clear site data for holysmokesbbqco.com, or uninstall the app.

WHAT WE KEEP

Nothing. When your account is deleted, all data associated with it is permanently removed from Cloud Firestore. We do not retain backups of deleted user data.
