It helps to include your device, your iOS or Android version, and the app version. You will find the app version at the bottom of the Settings screen.
You do not need an account to use the app. Signed out, every review lives on your device and no review is uploaded.
Signing in with Apple, Google, or an email address syncs your reviews to your account so a new phone picks up where you left off, and it is what lets you add friends and compare scores.
If a sign-in button does not work, close the app fully and reopen it, then check that you are connected to the internet. If it still fails, email us the message you see on screen.
On the sign-in panel, choose FORGOT, enter your email address, and we will send a reset link. If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
On iPhone the app is free to download and includes 5 reviews. Unlimited reviews is a one time purchase of $3.99, not a subscription. On Android the app is free with no purchase and no limit.
If you bought BBQ Scorecard back when it was a paid download, unlimited is already yours at no extra cost. If the app does not recognize that, tap Restore purchase on the unlock screen while signed in to the same Apple ID you bought it with.
A purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it carries over to a new iPhone. Use Restore purchase after signing in to that Apple ID.
Reaching the free limit never touches what you have already saved. Every review you have written stays readable, editable, exportable, and printable.
Settings has a DATA section. You can export a PDF of any single review, a CSV of everything, or a full JSON backup that can be imported again later.
